FPH Law would like to thank Forensic Testing Services Ltd (FTS) for providing an excellent and very informative training course on drug and alcohol testing on Friday 14th August 2015.
The course provided by FTS gave FPH Law’s Family and Children Law Team an introduction to what is involved in drug and alcohol testing, confirmation of the latest Legal Aid Agency (LAA) guidelines, confirmation of the LAA’s position on drug and alcohol testing and an overview of the complex issue of testing and the need to engage with experts.
Drug and alcohol tests are routinely ordered within Court proceedings and the training highlighted how it is vital that the test instructions are thought out properly to enable the results to be as accurate as possible. This allows the best evidence to be presented to the Court and of course ensures the best possible outcome for clients.
The Forensic Testing Service laboratory is fully accredited to the International Standard ISO/IEC 17025:2005 7550 by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) and their experienced team service law firms, local authorities and courts around the country.
